Update Billing Info
Billing info can be updated at any time during the billing cycle. If you currently have a past-due account balance, our system will attempt to resolve the issue once it has synced your new billing info.
Please note: due to credit card privacy laws, we cannot accept billing information over the phone.
Freeze Your Membership
In order to take effect on the next billing date (the 15th of the month), Freeze Request Forms must be submitted:
- In the gym before close on the 10th day of the month.
Or
- Online before 10 pm on the 14th day of the month.
For example, a Freeze Request Form received on May 10th will take effect on May 15th.
Policies
-Memberships may only be frozen once per calendar year but can remain frozen for as long as you’d like.
-Freeze fees: $5+tax/mos for Student or Individual Memberships. $10+tax/mos for Family Memberships.
-Refunds will not be issued for partial usage of membership or missed deadlines.
Unfreeze Your Membership
Monthly EFT (auto-billed) Memberships
You will need to pay prorated dues for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
We will automatically run your prorated dues via your membership’s attached method of payment. These payments are processed every 2–3 business days.
If you come in before the payment processes, staff may ask for you to pay in person. If you pay in person, you will not be double-billed.
Paid-In-Full (PIF) Memberships
You will need to visit our front desk to pay for your freeze fees. We do not store billing info for PIF Memberships, so you will need to bring a method of payment. The total number of days your account was frozen for will be added to the original end date of your PIF membership.
Example: if your account was frozen for 45 days, your membership’s original expiration date will automatically move back 45 days.
What are Prorated Dues?
We bill on the 15th of each month. Instead of charging you for an entire month of usage, we prorate accounts so that we are only charging you from the day that you unfreeze up to the next billing cycle.
Example: a student membership is $60/mos. If you unfroze your student membership on May 1st, we would charge you about $30+tax, instead of the full monthly amount. On May 15th, your automatic billing will resume.
Cancel Your Membership

Add or Remove a Member
Family Add
To add a member to your family membership, you will need to visit our front desk. Upon adding a member to your account, prorated dues will be charged for that member for the remainder of the current billing period.
Please note: only a spouse or child(ren) under 18 can be added to a family membership. Proof of residence or relation may be required.
Family Remove
If you need to remove a member from your family membership, you can submit a cancellation form. Be sure to leave a comment specifying that you are only removing a certain member(s) or the entire account may be canceled.

Who can be on a family membership?
Family Memberships consist of spouses and children under 18.
Roommates, friends, cousins, adult siblings/children are not eligible for a family membership.
To convert your membership to a family membership, visit our front desk.
Proof of residence may be required.
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, you must submit a cancellation form.

Only leaving for a short time?
You may want to consider freezing your account instead.
If you freeze your account, you won't have to pay a new enrollment fee when you return.
Memberships can only be frozen once per calendar year but can remain frozen for as many consecutive months as you'd like. While frozen, you will be charged $5+tax/mos. ($10+tax/mos. for family memberships).
How do I freeze my membership?
To freeze your membership, you will need to submit a freeze form in the gym or online before the deadline.
Freeze fees are $5/month for a Student or Individual membership and $10/month for a Family membership.
Memberships may only be frozen once per calendar year, but for as long as you want consecutively (.e.g frozen for March, April, May).
Are rentals included with a membership?
No, rentals are not included with a membership.
Ideally, if you are planning to climb frequently, you will want to purchase your own harness, shoes, etc. that fit you specifically.
Mountainworks, the climbing shop next door to us, often sells discounted packages on equipment to Quarry Members.

What is prorating?
We bill EFT (monthly) memberships on the 15th of each month. Prorating means that if you come in to sign up for a membership on any other day of the billing cycle, we will only charge you for the remaining days of that billing cycle—not the entire cycle's dues.
Example: If you purchase a membership on October 1st, we will only be charging you for half of the billing cycle. This means that if your normal monthly dues are $100/mos, we would only be charging you $50 in prorated dues. On the next billing date, your full monthly dues of $100 will begin billing automatically.
How do guest passes work?
As a perk for our members, we give each paying member 1 guest pass per calendar month.*
- Guest passes reset on the 1st of each calendar month.
- Guest passes do not roll over or accrue.
- Members must be present to use their guest pass and stay to climb with their guest.
- Free members on Family Memberships do not get a monthly guest pass.
To redeem your guest pass, bring your guest to our front desk and ask to use your guest pass. All first-time visitors will need to complete a waiver. Save time and complete one online!
*Guest passes are a perk, not a contractual obligation. The Quarry and its staff retain the right to revoke guest pass privileges at any time.
